The Tokyo MoU released the Annual Report 2019 indicating the RO Performance lists for the period 2017-2019.

The Tokyo MoU has released the Annual Report on Port State Control in the Asia-Pacific Region 2019. The year 2019 saw the membership of the Tokyo MOU acting proactively in addressing emerging issues. The Annual Report summarizes port State control activities and developments in the Tokyo MOU in 2019 and provides port State control statistics and analysis on the results of inspections carried out by member Authorities during the year.
The tables below indicate the RO’s Performance, the Port State Control Inspection and the Inspection and Detention per RO.
DromonClass demonstrates improvement on its performance through the Annual Report, as the Port State Control Inspections are increased in the Tokyo MoU.
DromonClass sets higher goals for the forthcoming years.
PERFORMANCE OF RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION
During the 3-year reporting period 2017-2019, DBS recorded 240 inspections with 1 RO attributed detention, resulting to an excess factor of 0.03, where in the 3-year reporting period 2016-2018, DBS recorded an excess factor of 0.05.
DBS has been recorded as the top rank in the medium performance.
PORT STATE INSPECTIONS PER RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION
In 2019, DBS has recorded 81 inspections out of which the 8 recorded a detention with 1 RO related detention.
In 2019, DBS detention ratio has been reduced to 9.88 in compare to 2018 detention ration that was records 13.75.
