Dromon Accredited by UKAS for UK MRV Regulation

Dromon Bureau of Shipping is pleased to announce that we have achieved accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), under ISO/IEC 17029:2019, for the Validation and Verification of environmental information.

This important accreditation means that DBS can continue assessing monitoring plans and verifying emission reports under the UK MRV Scheme, even as the UK develops its requirements and ceases to accept Validations and Verifications carried out by EU-accredited Verifiers.

DBS is, of course, already similarly accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD), the national accreditation body of Greece. This dual accreditation ensures that DBS can continue to offer seamless monitoring plan assessments and emission report verifications, for ships calling at European or UK Ports, and falling under either the EU or UK MRV Schemes, or both.
